My Knuckles are White, how about yours??
This may sound like quite a random topic for a blog... Your probably thinking "really? White Knuckles?" but if you knew a little more detail about the topic, you would I could actually care less about what color your knuckles are. White Knuckles is the name of my band. Saying you have white knuckles is just our way of saying that you are a follower of the band... Or better yet a groupie... But that's a bit too 70's for us. The band is made up of me, Alex Hintz, Brian Radway, and James Van Horn. Brian and James are from Mukwonago, and obviously me and Alex are from East Troy. I would like to make the summary of the band as quick as possible because come on, it's rock... Who wants to read about a band... You listen to bands... Not read them. WE ROCK. It is very true. In fact it is so true that we have video evidence of ow much we rock. YouTube. whiteknuckleslive55. Go and believe.

Grandma's Famous Recipe for Happiness... And great cookies
Throughout all of history, there has been two common ways to find happiness. For some it has been wealth or power, but for others, many others, it has been to just find something you love. This could be a person, a place, a thing, or even just doing something. This could be your wife/girlfriend, the Grand Canyon, your favorite book, or going for a nice walk on the beach. There are so many options for you, but it really depends on the kind of person you are. If you are on the darker side, you may not like the Grand Canyon, but something more like your favorite heavy metal concert. If you are not very energetic and do not prefer walking, it could be watching a nice movie. If you do not like reading, it could be your favorite video game. There are just so many options on what you can do for happiness. I will not just go off naming them, for all that I name will probably make me happy, but people have different opinions. So ask yourself, what makes YOU happy?

One Great Murmuration
I have beheld a most glorious spectacle of many many Starlings, which is actually known as a murmuring. They were simply flying overhead and to me seemed to be doing like a form of interpretive dance. Not like one bird was swaying like a tree, but more like as a whole they moved together to do something that looked similar to the ocean. It's was really breathtaking. There was also the part about very spectacular music playing in the background making the whole thing even more surreal. Oh you thought this actually happened TO ME? I could only hope for something even close to this, and I can only dream for the same experience to happen to me. It is really a once in a lifetime experience, maybe even a once in 10 lifetimes, maybe even 100. I cannot fully express my full awe at this, so the best I can do now is show you... If I could find the link.....

ItS a PaRaLlEl UnIvErSe!!!!!
Mirrors can really tell a lot about a person, especially what they look like. But is there a deeper insight on the person than just looks? Sometimes you may notice that a person may constantly have a little pocket mirror out checking to make sure they look good. This might indicate that they are the kind of person who values looks greatly. Other people could be the exact opposite and could always be looking in a mirror because they want to make whatever they see better because they don't like it for some reason. Then some people are completely opposite of that and never look in a mirror because they think that they are a goddess of beauty and always look good so do not require the need for a mirror. Others can be the opposite of that and never look in a mirror because they are afraid of what they might see, so would rather not know than be disappointed. Then finally we have the normal people who just use a mirror to use to wash up in in the bathroom and then occaisionally check just to make sure they aren't a complete mess. Not to focused on their looks at all and want to be at a happy medium of looking amazing and looking terrible: looking normal. Lastly there are the crazy people who just like to check the mirror to make sure their counterpart is not doing anything too terrible in the parallel universe that the mirror is a window to. It's not neccessarily crazy, after all it is a hypothesis that has neither been proven or disproven (although most would lean towards disproven) it's still a very far fetched idea and most likely does not require constant checking upon. As you can see, a lot can be said about a person using a mirror and how and why and when they use it. I'm going to end with this simple phrase that really sums up this topic in an interesting and possibly cliche way... "You are what you mirror."

Cellular Shirts
So there is this new idea out there for shirts that will act as antennas for your phones and other devices and enhance it's signal 10 fold. There are multiple problems I have with this idea. One, what happens when it gets wet? I'm pretty sure that we all know that when electronic devices get wet, they break and electrocute and sometimes explode. I mean I guess they could try to water proof it, but there is talk of using this for the military and if it starts pouring on the troops for days (yes for some reason I'm thinking we're fighting in Vietnam right now for some reason) I don't know how well or long the devices will last. This also brings me to my second point: Military use. Military personel have somewhere around 200 pounds of gear to carry around. The last thing they want to hear is that they have one more device to worry about and carry around. That would be pretty bad and annoying to me if I was a in the Military. My last problem with this idea is the price. It's $1000!!! I mean I think if I really needed better signal for my phone... I would just get a new phone. They say it's supposed to come down at some point... but until that happens... to me it's just a rediculous idea.
But just to be clear, if it gets to like $50 and works correctly with no accounts of shortages, I'll be all over it. But I think I'm fine until then.
