Lifely Length, Lengthy Memories
"The life given to us by nature is short, but the memory of a life well spent is eternal."
-Cicero
This statement is so true and everyone should be able to relate with it. Think about how long we are kids: a mere 18 years. 18 years out of about 85, which is not very long. Are you going to remember those short few years sitting in your basement playing Skyrim 24/7 or actually doing something fun and productive that will benefit your future? (anyone who answers skyrim will be over dramatically shunned, so please don't) It isnt our choice to move out of our childhood, but thats just nature. It is far better to have a good life while you have the chance than blow it away and wish you could have it back. That's called living in the past, and living difficulties may arise from this. Don't be that guy, be the great one.

Just tell me when....
I have disturbing experiences in the past. One in particular is going to a restaurant (Olive Garden stands out in my mind because it happens to be my favorite restaurant and it's also one of the greatest offenders with these disturbances) and they start like putting cheese on your soup or cutting your meat to a right size and they say "Tell me when." My first problem is why "when"? Really who actually says when? Why not say "Tell me when TO STOP." that would be so much simpler. Plus when and when you do say when, they don't take that as the que to stop. But yet when you say something that they didn't tell you to say, such as "That's good." they do stop. Then when you do finally say that you want them to stop in some way or another, they take like 2 seconds to actually stop. If they give you an option on when to stop, they should honor that option instead of taking their own little opinion on when with just a little use of the input you gave moments ago. For some reason that bugs me, but really I bet it bugs many people but they just aren't open about it. How StRaNgE....
